Welcome to Little Sand Bay Villas!

We hope you enjoy your stay with us! The more the merrier!

Here are some of the “Abbreviated Association Rules” that would be good to know. All suggestions are welcome!

1. Wildlife

Wildlife consisting of bears, skunks, and raccoons have been in the area this year! Be SAFE and be aware of your surroundings!

2. Trash

  • Check with others for “trash pick-up day” (usually Tuesday am).
  • Trash dumpsters are located across the entrance to the resort, on the other side of County Rd 7.
  • Keep personal garbage cans closed tight from animal inquiries.

3. Laundry House

  • After use, PLEASE keep the WASHER doors OPEN — both doors (the detergent door and the clothing door). This machine needs to “air out.”
  • Please CLOSE the DRYER doors after use and CLEAN the filter after use.
  • Payments for use of the machines are to be placed in the designated box. This money will be used for the electricity needed to run the machines and gas for the dryer heat.
  • Please keep the Laundry House neat and clean — including the bathroom.

4. Fishing House

  • Please clean after use.
  • Bury fish remains across the street behind the dumpster. There is a shovel provided in the fish house for this use. Please return the shovel when finished for the next person.
  • If you freeze your fish remains, PLEASE DO NOT place fish remains in the resort dumpster until trash pick-up day. The smell will attract unwanted animals (i.e. bears!).

5. Septic System

  • Avoid placing the following items into the drain/septic system: grease or oil; bleach; disposable cloths (Kleenex or wipes); and feminine products.
  • Purchase and use septic-safe toilet tissue and cleaning products.
  • If the electric is OFF, please DO NOT USE THE SEPTIC! Inform all cabins, then call for help. The septic relies on electric to run the pumps.

6. Boats

  • The public boat ramp is to be used (it is located on the south side of the lake — called Glacier Dr.).
  • The ramp at the resort is NOT to be used. This is per County rules, and the violator will be fined. Inspections are done by the state at the public ramp (located on the south side of the lake).
  • Boats, by law, cannot be pulled up to shore (damages the lake bottom).
  • Overnight parking is NOT allowed on the beach. Vessels must be parked in their designated slips.
  • Boats parked at boat docks must have bumpers to protect the docks. Every cabin has a designated boat slip. If the slip is occupied, then the boat must be removed at night.
  • Boat lifts are allowed, and preferred.
  • ALL empty boat trailers and renter boat trailers are to be parked across the street.
  • Boats should be respectful of the swim area — GO SLOW and WATCH carefully.

7. Parking

  • Each cabin has its own parking area.
  • Parking is only allowed in the designated areas.
  • Additional parking is available in the area by the basketball hoop. Please park to the edge of the area to keep enough room for others to turn around in the parking lot.
  • Parking is also available next to the laundry house.
  • Parking is NOT allowed on the grass or in the roadway.

8. Pets

  • Be considerate of your neighbors.
  • Immediately clean up after your pets.
  • Pets MUST be on a leash when outdoors.

9. Smoking

There is to be NO SMOKING in the Common Areas.

10. RVs, Campers and Tents

NO RVs, campers or tents, unless approved by the LSBV Association.

11. Fireplace

The fireplace is available for use, but you must supply your own firewood.

If there are problems, please contact your landlord.
